Our guides are as enthusiastic and energetic as the city. Each of them bring a unique perspective that makes our tours personalized, memorable, and fun.

How Long: Two hour walking tour. Every Friday & Saturday.

What we’ll do

The Dallas Dark Tales Walking Tour explores the more ghoulish and curious side of Dallas history. Explore the city’s past as our guide takes you on an eerie, yet fun-filled, adventure.

Where we will meet

We will meet at the JFK Memorial located at 646 Main St, Dallas, TX 75202. If you are driving, the closest parking is at the memorial underground parking. Please arrive to the pickup location at least 10 minutes before the departure time. See Map

What we will provide

From the West End we will walk to Dealey Plaza, the site of JFK assassination as we reflect on the fateful day of November 22nd, 1963 and talk about why this place has evolved to become a dark tourism destination. We will visit the restless spirits of the Old Red Courthouse and Hotel Lawrence (both hot spots for paranormal activity). Further down our journey we will walk on the grounds of the old cemetery at Pioneer Park (a conglomeration of four graveyards with the remains of several of the city’s earliest founders). To reach our last stop in the in Oak Cliff neighborhood we will take the streetcar, to the infamous Oswald Rooming House, the location where JFK “alleged assassin” was living at the time of the president’s murder.

Note from your host

Our tour always starts on time. Make sure to arrive to the meeting location 15 minutes before the tour starts. You must be able to walk a mile to visit all the markers in our excursion. Bring comfortable shoes.
